Welcome to Jageshwar Dham
Stay right next to the Jageshwar temples—it is only a few steps away. Every morning, you can look out your window and see the whole temple and the beautiful, tall Deodar (pine) trees.
No other guest house puts you this close to the divine
Bhaskar Guest House stands only 50 to 70 metres from the entrance of the Jageshwar Dham temple complex — the shortest walk of any accommodation in the area. Step out and you are at the sacred gates within a minute.
Enjoy a direct, unobstructed view of the ancient temples right from the guest house. Watch the morning aarti lamps flicker through the mist and feel the divine energy without even stepping outside.
Surrounded by ancient Deodar cedar trees that have stood for centuries, the guest house offers one of the most serene Himalayan forest panoramas in all of Kumaon — perfect for nature lovers and photographers alike.
Jageshwar Dham is one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, nestled at an altitude of 1,870 metres amidst ancient Deodar cedar forests near Almora, Uttarakhand. This divine complex houses over 100 ancient stone temples built between the 7th and 14th centuries.
The Shravana month (July–August) draws hundreds of thousands of devotees for the famous Jageshwar Monsoon Festival, one of the most vibrant celebrations in the Kumaon Himalayas.

"I could literally see the temple spires from my bed. Bhaskar Guest House is just steps away — maybe 50 metres at most. We heard the morning bells clearly. Absolutely divine experience."
"The view of the Deodar trees from the balcony was magical. We had a full temple view too — something no other stay in Jageshwar Dham can offer. Stayed during Shravana and it was unforgettable."
"Best location, full stop. You cannot stay any closer to the temples. Clean rooms, honest pricing, and that Deodar forest around you — just beautiful. Our family of three loved it."
